The Spiritual Formation Team

This team works with established small groups to aid them in enhancing and enriching their group’s spirituality.  Small groups connect people to people. Together we can also strengthen our connections to God.

 

These offerings give small groups opportunities to:

• grow deeper in their relationship with God
• become more lovingly intimate with God; and as a result, love God, others and themselves more
• hear God’s call
• reconnect to what they’ve have lost

The Spiritual Formation Team can assist in meeting the specific needs or interests of a group through:

• Single session speakers (45 minutes to 1 hour)
• Interactive workshops (about 3 hours)
• Ongoing studies (weekly or for a designated time)

The Team can assist small groups in developing single sessions or interactive workshops which might include:

• Deepening your prayer life through prayer tips, reflection and scriptural reference
• Expressing love to others and God
• Using spiritual tools such as journaling, holy listening, and meditation
• Applying your hobbies such as sewing, knitting, woodworking in a talent transformation

 

The Team can support ongoing studies including:

• Book Studies with aid in book selection, discussion preparation and facilitation advice
• A Spiritual Writing Workshop meeting biweekly to explore, form, and share spiritual concepts and ideas.  By writing about our faith, we will be transformed by our faith.
