Family Events:

All Church Picnic is Sunday, September 12th immediately following our 11:15 worship (approx. 12:30pm).  We will have food, music, carnival games, a bounce house, a slip ‘n slide, and much more.  Make sure your kids bring their swim suits and a change of clothes. 

The Emily Schmidt Memorial Trunk or Treat Trot is scheduled for Saturday, October 23rd at 9am.  Please join us for our 5k Run/Walk or 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk to honor Emily Schmidt.  All money will be donated to a charitable donation in memory of Emily Schmidt.

Trunk or Treat will be on Sunday, October 24th at 4:00pm.  All children thru elementary age and their families are invited to “trunk or treat” in our church parking lot.  Children can go from car trunk to car trunk and gather candy in a fun and safe environment.  Enjoy donuts and apple cider afterward.  All is free and open to the community. 

Fall Family Mission Night will be held on Friday, November 12th at 6:30pm in Fellowship Hall.  This night, we will also be recognizing our Children’s Ministry Volunteers.  Join us for dinner and some mission work, while honoring our volunteers all at the same time!  Free of charge for all.  For more information, contact Martha Manting at mmanting@gpworldwide.com. 

Family Advent Night is Wednesday, December 8th.  You are invited to dinner and a fabulous Christmas play by the children of CUMC.  End the evening with Christmas cookies and drinks.  Dinner will begin in Fellowship Hall at 6:15pm.  This event is free and open to all.  PLEASE bring your family and friends.  We’d love to have you! 

Family Movie Night is Friday, January 21st at 7pm.  Wear your pajamas and bring your pillow as we settle in for a family movie with popcorn and drinks.  There will be 3 movies offered so there is something for everyone.  This event is always free and open to all.  Bring a friend! 

Family Valentine’s Day Dance is scheduled for February 11th at 7pm in Fellowship Hall.  Dance to your favorite music and enjoy some great refreshments.   

Lounge 456 Lock-In date has been set---Friday, February 11th-Saturday, February 12th.  Start the night at our Valentine’s Day Dance at 7pm.  If you are in the 4th, 5th or 6th grade, plan to spend the night for some great fun.  Bring your sleeping bags, toiletries, and a lot of energy because we have some fabulous games and activities, a movie, a midnight snack, and much more in store for you. Rise and shine at 7:30am for breakfast and clean up.  Pick up is at 8am!  RSVP to Annette Siminski at asiminski@clarkstonumc.org.

 Our Spring Family Mission Night is Friday, March 18th at 6:30pm.  Families are invited to Fellowship Hall to work on a mission project and enjoy some fellowship with one another.  For more information, contact Martha Manting at mmanting@gpworldwide.com.  

CUMC’s Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 16th at 3pm in Fellowship Hall.  All children and their families are invited to hunt eggs, make some crafts, enjoy some light refreshments and visit with that famous furry white friend!  This event, of course, is open to our community and free.
