Start Date: 24 March 2023
Our program will be a presentation by Richard Dengate on how the Bill of Rights was created. In addition to teaching in India on a Fulbright Scholarship and in Japan as a Michigan Exchange Teacher, Mr. Dengate taught school for 26 years and was a university lecturer for 24 years. Please come and explore the basic statement of our fundamental rights. Where did they come from? What do they say? What is their purpose? The program will be proceeded by a potluck lunch at 12:00 pm. Please bring your own table setting and a dish to share. Beverages will be provided.
