Join us for Introduction to How Foods Fight Cancer, a Food for Life class focused on the role food can play in cancer risk reduction.
The National Cancer Institute states that only about 10% of cancer cases are linked to genetics. Many other factors, including diet and exercise, can play an important role in reducing cancer risk.
This class will share how certain foods and nutrients may work to promote or discourage cancer growth. Participants will also see demonstrations of simple recipes, sample the food, and receive resources to take home.
Introduction to How Foods Fight Cancer will be held Monday, November 2, from 6:30–8:00 PM in Fellowship Hall.
Please register online so we can prepare enough food and materials for everyone.
