This summer, Clarkston UMC is inviting singers of all ages to share their voices in worship through our Pop-Up Choir. Whether you have sung in choirs for years or simply enjoy making music, this is an easy, welcoming way to participate in worship without an ongoing rehearsal commitment.
On June 14, July 19, and August 16, anyone who would like to sing can arrive one half hour before either worship service to learn a song and then help lead music during that same morning’s service.
Rehearsals begin at 8:30 AM for the 9:00 AM service and 10:30 AM for the 11:00 AM service at Clarkston United Methodist Church.
There is no need to sign up for the whole summer, attend extra rehearsals, or make a long-term commitment. Come for one date or all three. This is a simple opportunity to lift your voice, worship with others, and be part of the music ministry at Clarkston UMC.
