Educational Support Opportunities
Clarkston UMC is committed to supporting educational opportunities through our scholarship programs. We offer different scholarships to meet various needs in our community.
Traditional Scholarships
For High School Students
The Scholarship Committee will review all applications and grant scholarships to graduating high school seniors who in the opinion of the Committee have met the criteria below.
Selection Criteria:
- Participated in and/or led in Clarkston United Methodist Church activities
- Demonstrated performance in academic studies
- Shown leadership and/or participated in school and/or community activities/work
- Shown a basic financial need
- Interviewed successfully with the Committee
Applications will be available in the spring of each year. The forms must be completed and returned to the church office by the deadline. The Scholarship Committee will review all applications and grant scholarships to graduating high school seniors who in the opinion of the Committee have met the criteria above.

Hugh Rose Scholarships
One Course Can Change Your Course Forever
You have the dream and the determination. We have the resources to make it possible. The Hugh Rose Scholarship was created to help eligible Clarkston residents through monetary assistance for college or technical courses that would otherwise be out of reach.

Gather necessary documents, transcripts, and recommendation letters as required.
Submit Application
Complete and submit your application by the specified deadline through the appropriate method.
